Honda Pilot.
3 rows.. seats 8. back rows fold down. reasonably priced.
It's time for me to trade in my car for something a li'l more practical, two adults, two kids and two greyhounds just isn't working for us with my current vehicle... a 2000 Pontiac Grand AM.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend some types of jeeps, SUV or whatever?
I really am not a vehicle girlie so cost and reliability and room are the most important features - only thing I won't consider is a mini van, I hate them with a passion, I think I am rebelling from the 'family vehicle' syndrome.![]()

or something a bit more powerful?

just think if we deleted the two word only thread, the post whore thread, etc., then their post counts would drop to about half!
The Pilot is a good choice. My Wife and I really like our Acura_MDX (if you're looking for something a bit more posh)

the Pilot and MDX are the same base SUV. the pilot has a slightly bigger back but less bells and whistles.Originally Posted by Witmaster

I liked the Honda Element,
smaller but practical,
better mileage,
cheap,
all wheel drive for the snow

Pilot is UGLY! I would get an Eddie Bauer Explorer, or a Limited. Or even the new Jeep Grand Cherokees.

I agree. But it is a good vehicle. Great reliability.Originally Posted by PreMier
Like I mentioned earlier, we REALLY like our Acura. Much better looking than the Pilot with all the luxury features we were looking for. However, the Acura does come with a significantly larger price tag!
I guess it all boils down to what you want the car to do and how much $$ you are willing to throw at it.
