    Arnold

All those myths about Arnold wearing 3 inch lifts are a bunch of bull! I have even heard that Arnold would have Silicon injected too his feet, giving him a natural lift. Arnold's real height nowadays is 6'2", and 6'4" when he was 30. With shoes, it was suspected that he would peak 6'7", a mammoth height if you ask. About 25 years ago, I saw Arnold standing next to Lou Ferringo( 6'5"1/2), as I saw it, Arnold was about an inch shorter. Believe it or not, Arnold keeps his true height secret; not his agents; not his friends; not even his family know his true height. Therefore, we should honor this mans accomplishments, not his height.

what the hell has his height got anything to do with it?

yes of course i honor his accomplishments in life. HIS HEIGHT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS.

I seriously do not see the point you are trying to make?

The only critiscm i would have about Arnie is that he did not deserve to win the olympia 7 times - i would say he deserved it 5 times.

His last win was annoying because the only reason he won it was becuase of his recent film popularity via pumping iron. He hadn't trained for YEARS, then trains for a few months and wins it!!! While the rest of the competitors looked much better and trained much longer.

Also Franco Colombu looked better IMO unfortunatly for some political reason Arnie was given the win.

No! What I'm saying is that height is a major factor when you are looking for fame. Why do you think short actors wear lifts?

    Tom Cruise is not famous?

Yes height is important in Hollywood I guess...but who cares?

It is the personality and charisma which sells a person NOT their height LOL

    really?

I always thought it was the size of your penis.

Height has absolutley no bearing on fame, talent does in most cases, however, there are exceptions, i.e. Paris Hilton.

Now there are studies that suggest height plays a role in business and career success, so had you brought that argument into play we might have something worth discussing here.

Wish I was shorter(maybe even a foot shorter), I'd stop bashing my head on low doorways, and my upper arms and shoulders would look bigger-in relation to the rest of me. (I'm 6'4")

Yeah man, true like a motherfucker.
I have the movie on his 7th win, it's called total rebuild, and in the movie you hear everybody applaud Arnold, as he come's back to pose again and again as he walks of stage, and it looks like they are his biggest fan.
But then a while ago I found a couple of interviews with some of the competitors from that night, and they say that the audience did not applaud him at all they booed him of stage and even more when he won the show.
and then I looked at the movie again with this in mind and yes then it's abvies to see that he does not do all that posing because they want him to, but because he hopes that he will win the audience over witch does not work. as you hear the applause, you should look at the people nobody is clapping there hands, NOBODY!
it was even so bad, that NBC did not want to show it on T.V., because the people would see that it's a fake.

I saw Lou Ferrigno at Golds gym Venice several times. I am 6'1 and my training partner was 6'3 at the time, Lou was the same height as my buddy....so 6'3 maybe 6'3 1/2 at best. My father is 5'11 and he has met Arnold a few times and said Arnold was around 6 feet tall. Plus watch Pumping Iron, Lou looks much taller than Arnold when they are on stage.
I highly recommend all IronMagLabs supplements!
