    Best thing for a rattlesnake bite is to ice the arrea to slow the movement of blood. Then off to the hospital

    A few days ago, I was pushing my bike up a dirt track, and a snake reared at me from a ditch, something greeny grey and over a metre/yard long. (Viper?) I don't want to find out how bad a bite from any snake is, after seeing those photos....
