First off I want to apologize to anyone who is disturbed or offended by me or byc's on going religious debate/fight.

Now this thread is for all the "Christians" who want to attack me...or feel that I have attacked them....

Please vent here and not on the other threads on this site.

Many parts of the New Testaments were written up to 300 years after Jesus' death.

Islam is evil, and if you start reading the Quran and the its interpretations by Islamic scholars and Muslims you will realize how dangerous Islam is. Islam is a religion of war, fighting, and just plain old hatred.

Following the credo of "treat folks how you want to be treated," seems more humane than organized religion.

Btw man when Christians try and talk to you don't take it as an attack. They're not coming at you in such a manner... You would have to understand their viewpoint and know their heartfely beliefs to understand their intent. They're not trying to belittle or attack you but rather strengthen, give you hope, life, meaning, and pick you up. It's up to you to reject their help and spit in their face as you feel fit or listen and accept the Truth... Despite common belief we're not working the pyramid program but rather sharing what we have found to mean the most in our lives... How can you not share something as amazing as what we know?... Only a fool would try and hide such freedoms and peace. Knowing God is the greatest privilege you can imagine. He holds every answer, every key, and is life it's self... I'll leave you be FR but know of what you speak before you speak it... That much advice there is free.

Religion sucks... Plain and simple!

However there is a Truth and that's all I'm after. You can give the Truth a name or try and bottle it up but the Truth still remains. What I know as the Truth is that there is a God... One God... One Savior... One Redeemer... and one true friend who sticks closer than a brother to those to yearn for such a relationship. I've seen it, felt it, believed it, and lived it....... Organised Religon does suck. As to one God.....I believe there many Gods not 1.

If you choose to engage in such conversations with me I do my best to shut up and listen. When I do that what's said is the right thing and in the right manner... why is it that when someone says they believe in some new religion like Christianity people take them seriously. But when another person says they believe in the Titans its sarcasm?

They didn't believe Jesus said he was who he was, that doesn't make the Christian God "new." King of the Jews ring a bell? They of course disliked hearing that title, they didn't want to be associated with him even though they are the ones who sought to have him ridden of. Who was it that sent down the 10 Commandments to Moses? Who was it that sent instructions to build a large vesel with which to save each species he could find, in preperation for a great flood?

If you are talking about who put a label on it, well then heck I dont give a shit. People label things all the time, there are over 2500 divisions of "Christianity."

Because God reinvented and changed things constantly? No because people do. Whether anyone believes in God or not is not the point, its people who have done this. It was people, who corrupted the church. It is people, who touched little boys. And so on and so forth.

And who said marriage was forbidden? Not God, but if you are a catholic priest or a nun, they decided it should be forbidden.

And before I make another stinking post... Here's my shpiel that I figured out after a long talk with some guy.

Now, dont take this as a questioning of my faith, all you Brothers in Christ out there, but, I asked this kid one time, "Nate, say that things dont go the way I think they will, say God is just some entity that doesnt care HOW you come to him, just as long as you are a really cool person, do you think I would go to heaven?"

He says something to the effect of, "Eric, if theres a heaven, you'll be in it."

(mind you, I dont want to be patting my own back here, I would like this story more if it werent me in it...)

I think all Christians should take that and think about it. If only to strengthen our faith and love for other people, we should think about it like that, though it isnt our deeds that get us into heaven, without said actions, how are we different from anybody else? Sure, we have all the wonderful faith and love inside, but, should we not pour it out?
