Red face bad day for my street...

Today was a very bad day for my street.

A girl that graduated from my high school last year lives down the street.
She and her dad were out and they came home to find
her mother dead. She was only 40 years old. I don't know the cause of death presently.

Then at about 2:30 today, I hear someone banging on my front door.
So I go see who it is and it's my neighbors children. The boy starts
screaming "Our house is on fire!!!"

So I call 911 and then go over there to see whats going on along with my family.

The front bedroom is completely ablaze and the living room is on fire too.

The firemen arive minutes later and drench the house for an hour.

Half the house is ruined and the rest has heavy smoke and water damage.
And it's my mom's birthday this weekend...Great present.

So i stayed for hours helping them and what not....etc etc

    Crappy day eh?

If the girl is cute, you could capitalize on her grief. *wink*

No, just kidding. And I'm a prick for making a joke about it. I wish them the best, and will keep both families in my prayers.

It's true Vieope, this summer 2 people who live in my town have died, and one house nearly burned to the ground...

Well the family is all ok, they are staying with their family and friends...
They have 5 children....It's really sad, 4 girls and 1 boy.
The oldest is in the grade below me, she is pretty cute, but I would never act like that after some bad had happened.
My mom contacted wal-mart today and told them their story...

And they agreed to donate them clothes, since 3 of the girls dont have any left.
