    Suggestion on a new gun

I'm in the market for another pistol; I think I'm looking at another Kimber. Anyone have any experience with their TLE II? Any other suggestions on good concealed handguns would be appreciated.

    You knew what?

I've already got a Kimber .45ACP Warrior, Mossberg 590 and others. Those are nice, but I like variety in my arsenal.

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

buy a sniper rifle n have a blast target practicing. just don't get carried away. when an air force base loses it's electicity cuz say someone shot the line down... they send choppers. luckily they don't send snipers.

lol, Choppers have missiles, and snipers dont sound nearly as bad as counter-snipers. You might even be able to talk them into joining you and taking out the other lines
    .....

Thats probably why they send choppers now..

we just stood there like idiots watching the little bushes catch on fire from the lines till we heard the choppers. terrible bandits. no skills at all. it was at place where people target practiced all the time probably we weren't the first fools to try it.

i buried my dog in a state park there too. we went back a bit later to visit his grave n there were choppers, police cars, state police broncos... seems they thought they found a human grave cuz i'd buried him wrapped in a big pink satin skirt... we didn't stick around seeing as burying anything in a state park is illegal. someone there tho made a big circle of white stones where his grave was. still would like to meet that person.

no immediate plans to return to nevada.

The 36 is a fine durable versatile choice -

But, personally I would go with the Glock-27 (.40), with an extended pinky grip clip... Slightly smaller and lighter than the 36 (.45)

My carry, is a Taurus PT145 which is slightly smaller than the Glocks
(But the action took me time to settle into)

I am looking at the beautiful and proven Walther PPK

But this is a low power round which is essentially
    a cut down 9mm

A very comfortable pistol configuration is also the
SIG 229 , but this is a little larger and heavier
and the safe and maintenance releases are stamped steel
    (Stiff and not comfy)

For functionality, you will simply not beat the HK USP
I own a full frame .45, but the compacts share the
comfort, easy controls, and sweet trigger
    Again though... a little larger

Found this Great pic for size comparison...

Handguns From left to Right -Sig 229 .40 cal, Glock 37.45 cal, Glock19 9mm, Center Glock 27, .40 cal.

(Note the extra round clip for the Glock .40, with the pinky rest)

I just about fell in love with the P345 when I checked that link.. Then I read a whole lot of complaints about it.. Fail to Fires where the primers werent even dimpled, slide issues; including the slide engaging randomly without being released upon inserting a mag(without mags being slammed in, so they claim) There were alot of good reports as well; I personally dont much like Ruger so it'll never be an issue for me.. Anyways, this is mainly what I was refering to-
    http://www.rugerforum.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/004705.html

The P345 Does kind of remind me of the FNP-9, which is a personal favorite. Im not sure if it could serve well as a concealed though?
    http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg129-e.htm
The,"Military Version" is readily available with 3 16 round mags for under $500.

If you need backup I also have this little gem...
I bought it for novelty, but have carried it before

    North American arms 22 mini
    5 shot .22LR
And it has a clip like a pocket knife on the back
which you can't see in the pic
(it clips right into my boot)

Here is a pic so you can judge scale...

I forgot to also add that besides the friendlier trigger...
I would today choose the Glock 27 over my PT145,

Because you can buy any fricken aftermarket gadgets for them
