    America, if Ford didnt exist.

    Germany, solely b/c of BMW.

Germany - They manufacture Porcshes, BMW's.
    Italy - Ferrari's, Lamborghini's - best supercars
Japan - These cars = very fast, very mod friendly. Don't have the class or the cred that the German cars have, but can give them a shake when it comes to going fast.
America - Has some supercars (Ford GT), but has nothing on Germany. Produces great family cars
Britain - Home of the Lotus. Some good supercars (DB9, Vanquish, Elise, Exige), also a solid family car market.

All in all, good cars come from everywhere

They are light as hell and I would hate to get into an accident in them.

Toyota make heavy, bulky, safe cars. I woudn't mind being in an accident in that. My mate has a BMW E30 which weighs 900kg. That'd be a bad car to be in an accident.

Japanese cars (some of - Silvia, RX series etc) are very light and can put out some extreme power (400 kw+) and run some fast times down the quarters - a lot faster than the European supercars. But the imports have nothing on the supercars around a track. Nothing whatsoever.

I love when people talk about german cars...

Most will say BMW is their favorite, funny though, BMW is
the only german OEM who builds stuff more like american cars

BENZ, & VW's are sooo german it's not even funny
over engineered from hell... solid though

I'm not a BMW man, although I will give kudos to the BMW M3 CSL - The fastest car around Nurburgring. I prefer Porsche's.
