Political Bushwhacking Thread

Okay, I'm opening this thread up so that people of all cultures, races, political ideaologies, etc can use it to sprout what they think.

Lets be realistic, this site is a diverse crowd... we have whites and blacks, men and women, conservatives and liberals, and oh the lists goes on. None of those groups really deserve to get beat on every time somebody desires to make an offensive political statement, so that is what this thread is for.

Post your offensive, opinionated and nasty political statements right here. Lets leave the other places open to being community

If you look at 10 out of 10 of the last political attacks.. you were the aggressor and I was defending the party attacked.

If that puts anything in perspective

Ummm I dont know. See, if you were in VA I'd offer you a glass of Chianti and a game of pool across the street at the local bar. Thats the best way to shirk all this political non-sense.

But you are right, Kbm does piss me off a bit.

Ahh, time for another glass.

Nothing fancy though. I do about a gallon of wine a week and generally alternate betwen merlot and chianti. Depending on the season I guess. Sometimes I mix it up a bit.

But I'm sure you remember from being in Europe, a gallon of table wine isn't so much.

I was the Arizona sales manager for one of the supplement companies but I quit over a year ago to go back to school full time.

I study business, but only because "philosophy doesn't bake any bread." And I kinda have to make a living. Would love to get a doctorate in philosophy one day though. But I'm afraid that might make me more confused...

Now tell me, are you doing it to get free access to roids?

Seriously though, what made you decide to change from business (perhaps a more financially lucrative ordeal) and move to nursing?

Hmm...RN is always good and you can write your own ticket pretty much anywhere. The shortage just continues to grow.

And Eggs - I didn't know you were in business. Somehow I suspected you were in psychology, with maybe a little philosophy thrown into the fire. At least your international travels should work in your favor in the job market when you are finished.

You can make very good money in Nursing esp if you stay in school and get advanced degrees....you can live anywhere in the country you want.....there is almost always a nursing shortage so you can be picky about where you work....plus its common to get a 5-10K signing bonus up front.

I plan to live in or near San Diego, and the starting pay down there is 70-75K....and thats only working 3 days a week 12 hr shifts......will do 2 shifts on the side with a relief staffing company and boost my first year income over 100K.

Perhaps it will Kbm. I hope so... despite my bitchiness online, my goal one day is to be the president of a company where I can make peoples live better. The customers of course, but also my employees. So many companies these days take advantage of people and spit them out like used waste when they are done. I dont think its right, and its certainly not the way to treat someone who has dedicated their life (which is everything they have) to your corporation. Well, I've have alot of feelings on the subject.

A human life is so valuable and it just seems like most companies take them for granted. How does one get the best of both worlds? Have a viable business and yet treat and offer respect to those that have contributed to it?

Thats cool, San Diego is a wonderful place to live. I lived in Coronado for 5 months in 98.. and had a wonderful time. So much going on there, and then just across the border and a couple hours south to some beautiful towns.

But anyways, it sounds like thats all stuff you know.

I enjoyed going to the old quarter in SD alot... getting some drinks in the Summer and just enjoying the culture.

whatever happened to the Bushwacking....People will blame him for anything....I even heard a Ted Kennedy from MA say the physical hurricane itself was his fault due to his 5 years of presidential influence on global warming.....wow that guy ruins his family name.
