Mac used to be a 98-pound weakling, the kind that got sand kicked in his face at the beach. I’m sure you know the type if you’ve ever seen any of those Charles Atlas bodybuilding ads. Mac sent away for “Muscle Mystery for You” (a N.Y. Times bestseller I hear) and boy, oh boy, was he glad he did when he transformed into Flex Mentallo-Hero of the Beach!

I weighed 143lbs at 6' in the 10th grade. I never could get girls and I lost fights. And how did I do both? Well, cuz I never tried! I was shy-er than shit. And this spilled out into my school interactions. Never raising my hand, angry as shit when going to school, never participated in anything in school or "after-school" specials, etc.

I would love to go back and beat the shit outta myself. Whyd I start working out? Cuz of insecurity.

Never again will I be that quiet.

6' 209lbs (8/16)
Bench 365 (12/3)
Weighted Pullups 80lbs 3x3 (3/19)
Squat 370
Deadlift after herniation 385lbs 3x3 (3/17)
NASM certified 2/06

I was in high school weights for two years, and I wanted to get bigger, and they were holding me back. Then I found this site, and p/rr/s, i switched out of weights, and got a gym membership.

I cannot vote becuase none of those selections fits for me.

When I was about 15 years old I found an old set of plastic weights in the basement and started lifting them, just did some basic stuff like bicep curls. I got such a rush from the pump I never stopped from that day forward.
