fast enough to drown people. It seems like people had enough time to find higher ground, I don't undertsand how there could be so many casualties.

Our hands were tied. We had to choose between him, or John Kerry.

Thats an odd perspective.. Why do you say that?
From my perspective Id have to agree.. both partys are going to screw everybody in some way. It really comes down to which matters are more important to you. Of course there are some(Bullshit, many) who just follow their party blindly

I see it this way: you can shoot your self in the head with a 45 or a 38....which is better????

I will not vote for parties that are literally owned and represented by the top 1% of this country. Both parties are completely corrupt, and I will not participate in a fake system that promises freedom and choices, when all it really does is keep the rich in power.

So I vote independent if there is a good candidate.

I agree completely

(I thought perhaps you read that I voted Libertarian in another thread, and were poking fun at me ) Though I did debate Bush or Badnarik for weeks, and I even considered Kerry early on.. Kerry lost my vote first; and it really came down to the opposite saying of- you're throwing away a vote on smaller parties since they wont win.. But I decided the more votes a smaller party gets, the bigger it gets, the more power and votes it gets(less people thinking its worthless)

I think a Libertarian as President would be useful as he could/would shoot down all of these bills that pass the house by,"bipartisan sponsorship" Where the bill originally, for instance, legalizes Crack, as legalizing crack could earn that party alot more votes.. The other party then says.. OK, Well let you legalize crack if you ban non commercial pick up trucks... Deal!
The next day the,"Crack legalization bill" is passed, and pickup trucks are mysteriously banned now

The worst part is they dont decide by.."Well, I think 50%+ of the country wants this, and this will get me their votes" its..

"24% of the people hate this, despise its, and will do anything to stop us. Of that 24%, we will only lose 2% of votes, the other 22% wouldn't vote for us anyways. 14% of People Love this and really want it, of that, only 2% supported us before, so we'll gain roughly 12% of support/possibly votes. The other 62% doesnt really care, and usually dont vote anyways so who cares; in total this should gain us roughly 10% of the country in support."(Yeah, and 24% of people despise the legislation)
The other party does the same thing, and the bill gets passed.. I would think though that Badnarik would be shooting crap like that out of the air. Plus Ive watched an 8 hour class of him teaching the US constitution.. While theres alot of area he fails to connect with reality, I believe he one of the most trust able candidates out there.
