In the context of income inequality, there's a demonstrable tie btn the exorbitant corporate pay/division of wealth and the stagnation of wages/salary in this country. The effects of income inequality are bad for the poor and middle class (see above post) and great for the wealthy. Not all wealthy folks are Bill Gates and not all poor people are Reagan's cadillac mother. Considering the plight of lower and middle class versus that of the upper class, I'll stand with the former b/c widespread suffering/disadvantage should be addressed over maintaining a minority's opulent lifestyle.
