i need to change my browser to 'proxy' to be able to download links from rapidshare.
How do i change my browser?
I am clueless with technology sorry.

I wonder how much Microsoft had to pay Symantec to publish that. Absolutely full of shit. Yes FireFox has vulnarabilities, what browser doesn't? Most of FireFox bugs result in minor problems, virtually every one of Internet Explorer's can result (in Microsoft's words): someone getting full control over you computer. i now changed my browser to Mozilla firefox, but i still can't get the downloads from rapidshare to happen.
I need to change my proxy whatever that is.

IN IE > goto tools, internet options. Click the Connections Tab, then click the LAN Settings button at the bottom. This is where you can configure your browser to use a proxy.

ISPs usually use a transparent proxy server if they use one at all (AOL used to, not sure about now).
