Fucking Expedia
Anyway so I booked a flight out to Halifax last night (party weekend with the boys) pretty decent price. I get into work and check my email, to notice that, my flight was not booked cause they couldn't connect with the airline I chose.
So I figure no biggy, I go back to expedia, and notice there is now a 20% price increase. Fuckers. So I get on the Horn with them to voice my displeasure. Where they basically said sucks to be you, there is nothing we can do about it. If you want the flight pay the 20% increase. So I ask to speak to the manager, and in the process get hung up on.
What a way to start off a Friday.
Expedia will no longer get my business, and I will make sure to not reccommend them to anyone else.

You have to realize that it doesnt mater that much, people today get upset for meaningless things. I mean, 100 years ago people had to use horses and spend days travelling dark territories just not to die, to find food. Today, we are actually flying. How much is that 20% anyway?

Expedia is a piece of Junk. We booked our tickets through expedia for Hawaii. The same flight with hotel is available for $200.00 less. Bad customer loyalty, no one should book through expedia.. rip off.. now they are even offering $300.00 in return for the tickets.. What a joke!! I am so fukin angry at their policy.

I know people who work the phones in customer service positions. All you need is a HS diploma and an interview. It's a pretty low paying gig. I imagine the CS jobs are filled mostly by young people. Originally Posted by IainDaniel

I've booked my flight twice directly at a certain local Airlines site using my credit card with their name on it and both times I arrive to get my boarding pass and gotten held up for 30 minutes because somethings wrong with the billing due to not having my zip code even though I enter it right on the website. Not to mention I get my Airline Miles statement from them at my address.
Another rant: Yesterday a client had to take a Sealed-AGM battery to a remote site on another Island. When he tried to have it checked as luggage they told him they wouldn't allow it. He called me up and I asked to speak to the baggage person to tell them that battery is D.O.T rated as Non-hazardous, that it is safer than all those Lithium laptop batts they allow to be carried in the passenger section...that this type of battery is what they use in fighter jets because they can be turned in any direction and not spill, can handle pressure changes from altitude, etc..... He ended up having to change his flight and drive down to the docks to put the battery on a ship heading to that island 2 days later...a battery other customers have taken with them on flights before. I just don't understand how low level employees are allowed to make up the rules as they go along....Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles

I doubt anyone here travels as much as I do. For the past year I fly through about 10 airports per month.
I FUCKING HATE AIRPORT! I FUCKING HATE 'EM!!!
Our companies travel agents needs a god damn globe and a map, too. Fuckers will have me lay over for 4 hours waiting on a 15 minute flight. I feel like Tom Hanks in Terminal.

Fucking Expedia they really really suck.
They keep saying "oh we'll call you back asap" without calling me back for 11 days now.
Meanwhile the price of the ticket is increasing every day.
They definitely lost a customer forever.
