    Limewire question.

How do you open programs that you download from limewire? When I try to lanch something nothing happens. If I click explore and try to open the file and click on the "save to disk" nothing happens.

go into wherever u saved the file to and open it there. You cant open zip or rar files through limewire b/c LW wont know to extract them. If its an extractable download winzip or winrar to open it. Use adobe reader for pdf files.

Agree completely. I just had to reinstall my operating system for the 2nd time in the last 5 months from getting a virus from Limewire. Luckily I didn't need all the crap I had on my computer that is now gone again.

I no longer have it, somehow I had Spyware that would not leave at all no matter what I did. I don't want to go through that again.

Get your hard drive partitioned. That way you can place all programs in one and files in another. So if you need to reinstall your OS, then only the drive with the OS will be erased. All your files will remain on the other drive. But if the virus is in one of those files, then running it will reinfect you.
