One year away from B.S. and if all goes to plan, 5 years away from PhD.
just curious...I get a lot of tech. feedback some people and wanted to know if they learn on their own or in a classroom at one time

not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,

no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
What is level of education?
High enough to see a problem with that sentence.

If I could do the University experience again, I would. I'm not too sure about repeating the jd and llm experiences...I think the best part of those degrees was living in Chicago while I earned them.

I failed Kinbergarten decause I'm byslexic. I also failed college level algebra in 9th grade because of my dyslexia, but my teachers thought I was too smart to be failing like I was so they called me lazy. I was lucky that my Calculus instructor in night school taught dyslexic children during the day so he knew how to present the material to me. That's the thing holding me back from going any further than the AAS I have now, I'm scared I will get in another situation where the teacher/professor will think I'm stupid or lazy and not understand that when you mix numbers with letters that represent numbers it throws my brain into complete chaos.
Not only do I have to remember that that b is a d or is it d is a b but also that b = 9 and d = -2.5y or was it d= -9 and b = 2.5y? You see where my problem is? Now try taking a timed test where you barely have time to calculate the numbers and now you have to take the time to rearrange everything on paper and triple check to be sure you didn't get any letters backwards and that you remembered the functions correctly this time. Physics was the same headache but luckily our instructor let us use our notes so it saved me time in trying to recall in the proper order all of the formulas.

High school grad here. I would like at least a 2 year degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Design. If my current Microsoft cert. doesn't work out then I might do just that. Darn Auto CAD software costs $4,000!![]()
Perhaps I can get by the$800.00 LT version. I don't know, taking out a loan then graduating and then having to worry about paying off those school loans doesn't sound something I could handle right now. I'm no Bill Gates here. So perhaps we should make a petition to Bill Gates and other software companies to give us student discounts or something. That way more people could afford more software, more students will say, "Wow, that Auto CAD used to cost a grand and more now at <insert price that will never be here>!
I'll buy 2! Perhaps they might as well start deploying more Linux into tech classes or something... That itself takes care of the people dropping out of science and tech. classes at school. And books is another story which I won't even get into.
