    Fat or Skinny?

Would you rather be a an endomorph or ectomorph? In other words a normally fat person or a normally skinny person. I am naturally lean. Its hard for me to gain weight. I think I would rather be a someone who is naturally heavy. You don't have to eat as much. You can miss a meal a not have to worry about losing weight. Just a thought.

In the past I wanted to be an endomorph....As I was the definition of an ectomorph. I realize now that I enjoy food immensely and wouldn't be able to consume the vast amounts that I do if I were an endomorph.

    So I vote ectomorph.

it is actually healthier to be slightly overweight than underweight. most people who are underweight have severe nutritional defecencies

I would much rather be naturally skinny... It's a pain in the ass to have to weigh my celery to make sure I don't gain weight

you're more likely to live longer if you are slightly underweight. it's well established that a calorie restricted diet lets people live longer, and it's been shown conclusively in mice.

Yes, mice are VERY close relatives of humans. (I'm not really arguing either way...)

Some concepts yes, some no. I believe natural selection can create new traits/characteristic within a given species, but I don't believe that it's possible for species to cross-over into one another (with a few exceptions like mules/donkeys whatever, but they can't breed).

I've never heard of this crossing-over thing. Maybe coincidentally it seems like that sometimes, but evolution is essentially natural selection/survival of the fittest in aciton. Or is there something I'm missing?

I'm just refering to the old concept (maybe this is way outdated now) that all forms of life evolved from a single celled organism etc....

Whatever, this is a boring topic, and I'm on break... I'm officially setting my brain at idle for the week .

lets just analyze the two scenarios for a second.

ectomorph-skinny dude who can't gain weight.
solution-eat burgers, fries, pizza, steak basically anything with lots of calories and make sure you eat enough protein and good fats.

endomorph-fat fuck who can't lose the belly.
solution-be conscious of what you put into your body 24/7 as that is the only healthy way to get fat off and keep it off.

hhhmmm, looks like a simple choice to me

I used to be really fat my whole life until I started working out about 6yrs ago. It sucks to be fat, i would have much rather be skinny. Now I'm neither and I love it. From a prior fat guy's perspective, it sucks to be that way but it can be easily overcome with a little knowledge and dedication.
