    USB ports not recognizing anything

Ok, I am not sure what is wrong.
I never installed any drivers for my USB ports, because I didn't know it was necessary.
My motherboard is a KV8 Pro Abit
I went to the abit website and downloaded some drivers, which I dont think even worked...
    anyway
What I am trying to do is plug in my eyetoy to the USB port.
I know its possible, as there are numerous tutorials on it, and my boss at work uses his on his PC.

So basically, I'm wondering if anyone knows why my comp. is not recognizing hardware through the USB ports...

That usually means that the USB support has been turned off in the BIOS. Check to see if support is turned off, if they are just turn it on.

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
