RE4 does look good. I played it as soon as it came out. It's kind of creepy though.

    Splinter Cell 4
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

If I had to buy and play one it would be RE4. But Code Veronica on PS2 was such a let down.. I mean.. They had a chance to upgrade the game from PS to PS2.. and the small changes they made, made it WORSE. Although RE4 will be a complete reworking with really only some storyline, and characters transfered over.. But so was Tomb Raider: Dark Angel, and I was so disgusted by that one I quit playing.. I mean.. the ideal that there was one non chalant block somewhere you had to push for no reason, to *instantly* become stronger, and able to move a block on the other side of the museum, in order to proceed was rediculous... And yet the game managed to get worse, and contained the most bugs Ive ever encountered in a console game.

Its seems to be a common trend for game series to go on a downward spiral as they progress. Even Final Fantasy is starting to lose their touch.. But if the do a complete reworking of FF7 and FF8 for an updated system they would restore their honor

Its probably the game of the year. Since everything else sucked! I dont even got my system no more. I was waiting for FFXII, but it got pushed back to Fall 06. If they remake 7, 8, shit even 10. I'm getting a ps3!
