I did 2 natural shows abound 1996, the last one was a qualifier for the natural Mr Universe..............I took 7th but it was fun and made me realize how important it is to diet the right way ( I didn't) and that posing on stage is very hard if you don't properly prepare.

    nope.

actually, I am not that big anymore. At my biggest I was 200lbs. I dieted down. My avi I am around 190lbs. I then dieted down to about 170 or so for a bbing contest. My last BBing contest ever. I never regained weight so that I could compete as a 77kg lifter in olympic lifting. I feel better and healthier at this weight then I did at 190 or 200. Between 170-180 I feel the healthiest. I am fast and I am as strong or stronger then i was at the heavier BW.

    You certainly were stacked dude.

My only concern would be getting shredded enough to win a show. Size is no problem whatsoever but I was a fatass growing up so that last 15lbs. will be hard to cut...

I think the real question here is, whats your max barbell curl (for bicepts)? and best incline barbell press (while isolating upper chest).

Yea, I liked being bigger. I am still pretty damn muscular though so I don't really care. I miss it a little bit but all in all I really only care about strength now. I could careless about my size.

To become a pro, you need to be able to gain a lot, even as a natural, if your not able to gain a lot as a natural even though you got your diet down perfectly, you won't make it, me myself I've always gained very easy, from 16( when I started training) to like 18 I gained about 60 pounds and I was still training like a little bitch, back out the gym in 1 hour, more like fitness than BB, back then I did not even have the nutrition down, and on supplements, I only took some c100mg every day, that's all. then I started to learn about protein and carbs loading, post work out meals and everything, so then I even gained more easy, but do understand that I was a big framed guy all along and therefore it was easy for me because I was still filling out my frame, at 18 I got in contact with Brian Dobson and he helped me alot on the training department but with 210 pounds some would already call me big, but my frame was just then turning from just a big guy to a bodybuilding body, so it took that many pounds to get to that level, who knows where the road will lead, all I know is that I like this forum and I will stay here and if I ever Win a big show or something, I will let Ya'll know who I am and try to represent for IM, as I hope a lot of people will.

And P, I believe in BB to be the best sport out there, and one of the more healthy ones to, yes pro level athletes take a lot of stuff that makes them unhealthy, but apart from that, normal everyday people will get a more healthy lifestyle from BB than all of these overweight people nowadays, get some muscle, get your diet down and still lift heavy, it's all possible, that's why this is the greatest sport.

While I don't consider it a "sport" I do agree that it has many healthy benefits to the everyday Joe. Training/eating like a "bb'er" can help improve peoples lifestyle drastically. The only reason I don't care to gain weight is becuase I want to compete in a lower weight class. It isn't hard for me to put on muscle or size. If I want to I can put on weight fast....and not bad weight. But, it isn't in line with my goals.

It's never too late, yes you can gain a lot when you are young, but if you really have good genes and are willing to take some risks you can still get somewhere

    1 cm = .39 inches.

    180 x .39 = 70.2 inches.

    Your somewhere around 5'8 - 5'10.

Yeah I was too lazy to calculate it exactly..

All that means is 5 feet, 8 inches.

    A foot = 12 inches..

    180 cm = 70.2 inches

    70 / 12 = 5.833333333333333

So 5 feet and 8.33333 of another foot... + .2 of an inch...
