It got mine wrong every time

look at number 18, that symbol is the one that will pop up on the ball, always. Now check the symbol on number 18, and match it up with the other numbers that have it- with a few exceptions, those are all the possible awnsers.

I didn't know if it captured your first on-mouse over event after x-number of time, and used that... maybe not

Here's a hint, try picking 10 different numbers and notice the same symbol will work for all of them...

Here are all the possible 2 digit numbers, the sum of those numbers and the difference of the number and the sum of the numbers. You will notice that no matter what number you pick, the final number you look up will always be a multiple of 9. So all they have to do is make sure every multiple of 9 is the same number, randomize which symbol they will use for multiples of 9s (and show that one on the end), then they fill in everything else randomly

I find it more interesting that you can take a number like 49 and manipulate in a couple ways and get the same results

4+9 = 13, 49-13 = 36 - multiple of 9

Notice if you take this further and add 3+6 you get 9

Also consider 4+9 = 13 and 1+3 = 4
now 49-4 = 45 and 13-4=9, again both multiples of 9 and all the multiples of 9 equal 9 if again added together, 4+5, 3+6, 2+7, 8+1 (45, 36, 27, 81)

9's and their multiples are just funky numbers that make this kind of thing possible

I understand that they are all mutiples of 9. But, that doesn't give me the answer as to how it knows which one I am looking at everytime! I would understand if it was 1 out of 5 or something like that. But every time?

The whole point is once you do the math, every possible number that you could have chosen always reduces to a multiple of 9

It doesnt know which one you are looking at, ALL the multiples of 9 are the same symbol, and they all change to a different symbol everytime you try. Using the math, without cheating, will always lead to one of the numbers, which will all have the same symbol, which the ball will pick.

It took me a while to figure out that all multiples of 9 always have the same symbol. I see you guys figured that out hours ago.
