Those are some sort of Iraqi spiders, someone posted something about them a while ago.

The spiders are real, believe me, I know. I also will verify that it is very dry here, sandy, and this place has given me a strange rash. So yea, I wouldn't recommend cumming in here.

Our uniforms have button down cuffs what most people leave open for better ventillation. Hence, why the sleeve looks bigger.

So are you saying camel spiders really are that big

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles

there's two of them there, Manic. They are big. I've seen enough of them...when I was in 'Saudi, maintenance troops wold catch them and scorpians and / or centipedes and let them fight it out.
Dunno the size of your hands, but a camel spider was about the size of my hand, fingers spread.

On that page, it says that they don't jump is bunk.
    Kinda funny to watch:
I was in the AF; Security Forces. I was on walking patrol when my partner and I came across one. The other guy stomped it's foot down to scare it away...it worked..we thought. I ran away for about 10 feet...spun around and charged my friend..then jumped / leapt onto his leg, right below the knee.
It didn't stay long..as my friend was jumping up and down..screaming like a girl.
    -true story

also saw a sand viper. nicknamed: two-step snake. (supposed to be VERY deadly)
The spiders were creepy...but the snake...had to watch out for those!

one night, I was in my guard shack. There was a huge, black scorpian out in the dirt outside...being bored in the middle of the night..I had to 'fuq' with it. It was just going back and forth..tail relaxed. had to be 5" from pincers to tip of tail...pretty good size..and fat. I spit some water on it...WHIP! that tail come up in a blink of en eye! Actually sent a chill up my spine.
My haji, (Saudi counter part saw what I was doing..jumped up from what he was doing, and kicked it to the street. (should have heard its armour skidding on the asphault) where he took a broken metal broom handle and killed it...cut it into pieces and scattered them. Then told me (by way of hand signals) that if it had stung me it would have been bad...(Actaully did the finger across the throat signal)
I've been to the dessert three separate times...more than enough...

I'd rather deal with those than the stuff the guy's in Vietnam's Jungles had to deal with.
