anyway, negative caloric intake is the key. The fact is, there is no way you can look at a fat guy and say 'his diet is bad, he needs to fix that and not worry about cardio.' Fact is, he may have already been dieting and he needs to get on the treadmill. or maybe he would rather not diet and just do some cardio....
either way it is irrelevant. if you show up at the gym acting like you are a hard ass, doing 8 sets of flat bench when you are +30% body fat, you deserve to be laughed at.
