    Saw The Eagles last night

Man was I out there, I drank a huge margarita during the first half that mixed nicely with the Codiene cough syrup I drank right before I went in. I was right at the perfect level for the sound to kind of squeeze in a funnel and bounce off of the stadium wall and ceiling so it was like surround sound at one point my body was so numb I closed my eyes and felt like I was levitating in my seat Then when I opened them the camera crane was under Joe Walshes feet and it looked like he was levitating too. I started staring at the lighting behind the stage at all of these amazing images then I blinked and realized I was turning the shadows of the scaffolding into images of my own the lights were just lights no images. I decided I needed more to drink so I went out and bought another Margarita and 2 bottles of water. I slammed the margarita threw it away and walked back to my seat while drinking the first bottle of water. The second wave of Tequila hit as Hotel California started up, Man what a rush everyone around me started yelling and all of the vibrations freakin' jolted me with megawatts of goosebump inducing energy.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

This is a good month, Riders on the Storm will be here next week for the Honolulu Marathon. If you don't know that is Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of the Doors with Ian Astbury singing. I paid top dollar for front row seats with dinner/wine/cheese. Reviews say that they sound just the same as they did in the 60'/70's and Astbury has a spooky similarity to Jim's voice.

You guys are going to lose. You might as well just cheer for me, because Boston isn’t winning in Boston for the season opener. I’m sorry. " - Gilbert Arenas

haha exactly, it was one of those moments where in real life you would've just smiled and nodded along
