Pulse watch doesn't work try this.

I always wear a pulse watch when I do cardio but lately it is not functionning well so I called up the company to bitch and to see if they would comp me a new one..They told me to mix a little salt in water and rub a little of it on the back of the sensor then put it on while damp. Works great. Apparentely it creates better conductence or something.

No spam I was just trying to help my fellow human. The reason I put it up was because I was about to throw a 150.00 dollar watch in the dumpster when all it needed was a little salt...in other words I know there have to be a lot of dumbasses just like me out there in the world and I was just trying to save them a few bucks..

Im not sure how your watch works or whatever, but salt acts as an ionic conductor between separate electrochemical cells. Im not sure if that would work too well because you need an effective electrolyte and just rubbing salt water on the back won't provide a pathway for long. That's a little electrochemistry, which I have a final for in about 22 hours.
