John Spencer (Leo McGarry) Dies of a heart attack at 58 yrs old Friday
This is unbelievably bad news for anyone thats been a fan of the show "The West Wing". To say Spencer was a talented actor is certainly not enough, he brought so much to his character and to the show that its going to be nearly impossible to continue on without that dynamic. I have never been one to follow the lives of celebrities or really give a shit about them in any way shape or form, in fact I can believe it is evoking this much emotion, but I have always been able to vent here so allow me to for a moment. This show has been so many things to me over the years, it has taught me so much and provided so much more than simple entertainment that the cast has a special place, and to see this happen brings much pain to my heart. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.... rest in peace

Haven't watched West Wing in a long while cause I get tied up in reading too often lately, but it sucks when one of the stars goes so suddenly in any show.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
