Well anyway what stereo systems do you people have?
I actually bought 8ohm car subs for my home entertainment system. Why you may ponder with wonder? Because bitch! I just wanted too! Na because car subs hit harder and much deeper...

Yea, I would get some components. The speakers I would get, would be the Klipsch towers. They are super loud(use horn tweeters) have really crisp sound, but are $$$.

Just make sure you pick out a reciever that will power them properly, and dont cheat them by using poor cable size. I use 8 guage for mine.

I used to have a badass stereo,
    Carver PWR amp
    Carver Pre-amp
    Pioneer Changer
    Kenwood EQ
and enough speakers to fill a house...

but, it got stolen when my old place got broken into...

    I replaced it w/a Sony 6:1 reciever, and I have a DVD/VCR combo
and an old Bose Acoustimass-5 speaker set

It works, my spirit was crushed and I don't need a system anymore

    Macintosh.

Never heard of them? That's because you can't afford them. My wife actually worked there and we couldn't afford them, even with a 50% employee discount.
Rules? You mean we have RULES for that???

Most of the big Klipsch's have a bass driver, and a passive wave radiator..
they increase the output of bass,
But can cause distortion in certain sounds

    Did that fish fart?
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
