    Big Brother

    So oftern on the Internet I hear from Europeans about the horrible loss of privacy in the US because of the Patriot Act, which has had zero affect upon me. Then I read things like this and have to laugh. Add CCTV to that and you really do have so little privacy.

    For those who don't click on the link, an excerpt:

    "Britain is to become the first country in the world where the movements of all vehicles on the roads are recorded. A new national surveillance system will hold the records for at least two years."
    So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
    of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
    about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

    I have a GPS tracking system installed in my van and I have also installed it for other companies. Private companies can do that.

    That's been one of the complaints about the new "On Star" systems in the new GM vehicles.

    Some greasy faced government agent listening in on your sultry phone calls to the Ivory Coast and being videotaped on public roads are 2 different things.
