    Would You do it ?

    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article...963110,00.html

The story above is how a policeman turned his father in to recieve 40 years for robbing a bank....I honestly don't think I could ever do that to my father for Bank robbery, I mean its federally insured for a start and he didn't hurt anyone. If my father Murdered someone I probably wouldn't hesitate handing him in (I don't think)

I mean he was supposedly getting the money to pay for a new girlfriend of some sort which is stupid, but still I don't know if I would have turned him in.
Just thought I would get your opinions.... I have mixed feelings about the whole thing.

I wouldn't rat on him, and I would slap the teller and tell her to get a boob job.

I'd turn my dad in... but then again I'd probably frame him for something he didn't do too.... he deserves it, the asshole.

"William Ginglen, 64, a former industrial engineer with a strong history of community service and no criminal record, now faces the prospect of spending the rest of his life behind bars after stealing $60,000 (about £35,000) which he spent on a secret girlfriend, drugs and prostitutes."

Would you turn your dad in if you knew he spent the $60 on "a secret girlfriend, drugs and prostitutes"??

................to say it's no big deal because the money's insured and he didn't hurt anybody is false. Yeah, the government pays that money back. Where do you think the government gets it's money. Right, from you and me. He's stealing from us. He didn't hurt anyone? Maybe not physically, but he sure hurt averybody who banks there. The governement insurance is like any other insurance, that bank is gonna have to pay a higher premium now. Where do you think they're gonna get the extra $$$? Right, from you and me. Again, he's stealing from us. I say shoot the bastard.
