It doesn't look as nice as a Ferrari F430, but it sure costs a lot less. You might say it's a poor man's Ferrari. I'd buy one if I had the money. I've always been more into the performance of a vehicle rather than appearance.

The Atom can do 0-60mph in 2.9seconds. That will kill the F430.

At the moment, the Bugatti Veyron appears to have it all:

A W-16 engine that can produce 1,001 horsepower
A top speed of 253+ mph (400+ kph)
    A zero-to-60 time of 2.4-2.6 seconds
    A zero-to-180 time of 14 seconds
A price tag somewhere in the $1 million range.

When the car reaches 253 MPH, the onboard computer won't let it exceed this. Beyond this speed the tires would explode.

Btw, it's only about a inch narrower in the front than a Hummer.

Reminds me of the silly little electric cars they rent to the tourists out here.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
