That thing is total bullshit. Some of those colleges have the best programs in the U.S. and top 10 in the world. Berkeley has one of the top 3 Analytical Chemistry graduate programs in the country. Oh, this is one of those rate your teacher things. I hate those because all it shows is which professor has the most lazy ass piece of shit students who don't want to put in the effort it takes to earn good grades. Your professor isn't supposed to hold your hand and walk you through the class, you're supposed to grab your ballsack and try as hard as you can. I hate it when some Liberal Arts major tells me that their Sports Managment 212 professor was a "hard dick who gave impossible exams". Fucking lazy pieces of shit.
haha, hell no. I would love to go to Berkeley for graduate school in Analytical Chemistry but they take less than 0.5% of their applicants. I think they get over 20,000 applications a year and the analytical program accepts around 20. Not only would you have to have a 4.0 chemistry GPA but have to have extensive undergraduate research with a very credible lab and an incredibly high score on the GRE's among other things.

I was wrong, the graduate program as a whole gets around 20,000 applications but the Graduate Chemistry program gets between 500-600 it says. The percentages are still very low because each lab takes no more than 3-5 graduate students working on doctoral defenses at a time, so I would guess around 20-30 new grad students begin each year, which still makes it around 5% admission rate.
