So, push for democracy in Arab countries. We need to make sure democracy reigns throughout the wrold. But what do you do when the democracy you push results in a terrorist party being elected?

I thought I remembered when we went into Iraq we said we were not going to "push Democracy" - maybe I remember wrong...

This area is a hotbed and always has been as always will be and it is based on the religious beliefs of the people that live in this area - I wish I did not have to say this but this IS the root of the problem - they kill each other over their beliefs. HOW do we think we will ever change things in this area of the world when these people have not been able to do it for their entire existance?

I am a war veteran - I felt when we went into this it was a big mistake and I still feel that way. While I do not like killing innocent people and certainly innocent people do get killed in war, when we were attacked as far as I was concerned we should just drop a few big ones and THEN there will be peace - and in this region of the world for the first time in their existance: there might not be anyone alive after but if that is what it takes for the rest of the world to be rid of the bullshit I am for it. And I do not like killing people for any reason but I see no other way for this to be settled and settled once and for all.

Certainly voting in a "democractic" election is not the answer BECAUSE those that were in power before will regain the power again and we will be constantly visiting the same bullshit.

Let's get this over - real quick: DROP a plane load of atomic bombs.

There are over 170 countries in this world.

What we need to do is focus on helping our own people.

The Palestinian elections are just the beggining.

Democracy does not lead to a decrease in terrorism.

As for Hamas, organizations that use terror usually stop it when they enter the political process. Usually....

Iraq: The Shiite government that will likely come to power someday will be very close to Iran.

That ENTIRE area of the world will NEVER see peace in any form - their religion and religious beliefs have dictated peoples lives there for as long as that area has existed and they have been killing each other over who has the right god and the right religion forever - until they elimate religion and religius beliefs nothing is going to change there - perhaps the best solution is to drop a number of well-placed BIG ONES in that ENTIRE REGION of the world - no one will be alive but at least the area will have peace for once in its history. I do not advocate violence but sometimes that is the only choice left. And I hate to say it but there are way to many people living in that region anyway and the overpopulation is always going to be a part of the problem....
