What? Are we planning another bombing or are you going to go back in time?
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Your poll is backwards of the title of the thread. I dont suspect the results are going to be accurate to what people thought.

Well, while doing research on it, the people against the dropping that were in government at the time said that the fire bombings of Tokyo and blockade of food/supplies going into Japan would have also won us the war in time....but guess we were a little impatient and didn't want to suffer anymore losses if we didn't have too.

Wow, there is really a case against not bombing Japan!

Is there really any college student who wrote a paper that was against it!?

Where would they find the material?! I mean geez...

I believe there is more idiocy than subterfuge in this poll.

The fact that "won us the war in time" equates to "many more dead US soldiers" was a motivating factor. Most of the quotes against it were made long after the fact, usual with a political and/or apologist agenda.

How come you used ebonics in the first response, but not the second?

Yes, the war was fin to be over
Hell no!(Proper usage would be "Hell nah!")

Stop mixing languages your as bad as alexvega.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
