Whenever I am in a relationship and Valentine's Day is coming up, I get in a bad mood, mainly because I hate how it is so commercialized. And guys are forced to do "sweet" things for their girlfriends, not because they really want to, but because they are forced to -- your girlfriend's friends will be asking her what her boyfriend did for her, what he got her, etc., etc.. And now they are making more and more BS holidays for girls such as "Sweetest Day" aka VALENTINE'S DAY II! Ridiculous. I had to get my ex-girlfriend stuff out of fear her friends would unleashed propaganda on her if I hadn't. All I have to say about that is that girls best recognize March 14th, Steak and BJ Day.

Only good thing about Valentine's Day is if you're single.. great way to ask a girl out on a date or go out and party (read: lots of single girls, some down and desperate).
