    Are any of you acting weird to girls even ones you are not currently dating?

    Well, I am getting jellous because a bunch of my palls have someone to share the holiday with. But I don't want to let that get in the way. I am gonna gather my jellousy and flush it down the toilet on Valentines day and get my chocolate and my vibrator.

    Most likely if your friends partners buy stuff for their GF's & wives
    on Valentines day it's because they ignore them the rest of the year...

    I feel its much more appropriate to buy flowers or dinner
    for your friend/lover on a day when they really need it
    (such as a crappy day at work or the like)...

    I am very upfront about not participating in the fake holidays
    of valentines or sweetest day(s)...

    that being said I always try to go the extra mile
    on normal days when the extra boost is truly needed

    I like to give flowers or green plants that boost the mood...
    Chocolates are great if you want your girlfriend to get fat
    and jewelry is completely useless IMO

    Have Problems?... Chances are its due to overpopulation

    This year I'll be alone on V day but I also dont need a stupid holiday to let my girl know she's special every other 364 days out of the year. Most men just have no concept of what true romance is. Its NOT Valentines day and its NOT champagne and its NOT roses. Romance is ALL that on days when there is absolutely no conceivable reason for doing it. Even if shes not having a bad day. Romance is seeing her walking around with no make up and frumpy clothes, then turning on the stereo and ASKING her to slow dance with you JUST BECAUSE.

    Valentine's Day is a nice holiday but i think guys shouldn't have to compete w the jonses or try to impress their girls friends. something simple n from the heart on that day or any other is the best. girls who compare gifts n rate guys by what they bought them are shallow.
