Un niño de 8 años capturado en Irán en un mercado por haber robado un pan es castigado en nombre del Islam…
Su brazo será roto por un vehículo y perderá su uso para siempre…

I know, but look at his life now...the middle east is just so fucked up it seems like it would be easier to just blow them all away and start over without their fucked up religeons. (not trying to start another pointless religous debate either)

Well I didnt read the article but maybe they did this just to scare him and not to hurt him. If you ever had your foot under a tire of a car, you know it doesnt hurt..
It is still a bad way of teaching something though.

From what I have seen there is a common theme amoung doing things right. It's alot harder to do the right thing than the wrong thing here. Nuking it would be easy. Doing nothing would be easy.

at that age the act itself is tramatic enough, but I would think that could have broken his arm being that young.

Meanwhile, back here in the wingnut-operated United States, we find that a teenage boy was beaten to death by his charges at a boot camp in Florida:

One partially interesting (though poor quality video) of the event is here:

Meanwhile, two good citizens decided to don their Gestapo garb and enter a public library in Maryland, ordering patrons to stop watching porn on library computers. When they attempted to apprehend one for looking at a web site they decided was inappropriate, a librarian intervened and police were called to the scene:

Maybe they were just trying to lead the patron's hand out to rest under their car.

Try using your brain for just a moment. The foot is built for carrying a little bit of weight, and short burts of large amounts of pressure (walking creates bursts in great excess of your entire bodyweight). The ulna and radius are not, plus he is only 8 years old.

I hate to say it, but I am starting to agree.

Their population will be exploding, as it is already now, and there will be water shortages and high unemployment. Likely more radicalism.

Oh yeah. . .and there was this little great American tale of religious lunacy just a few months ago. . .

"(Tampa, Florida) A 21 year old Tampa man is charged with murder after his 3-year old son was pummeled into unconsciousness and then died.
Ronnie Paris Jr. went on trial for his own life this week in a Tampa courtroom.

The toddler's mother, Nysheerah Paris, testified that her husband thought the boy might be gay and would force him to box.
Nysheerah Paris told the court that Paris would make the boy fight with him, slapping the child in the head until he cried or wet himself. She said that on one occasion Paris slammed the child against a wall because he was vomiting
    .

The court was told there had been a history of abuse by Paris. Prosecutor Jalal Harb said that in 2002, the Florida Department of Children & Families placed the child in protective custody after he had been admitted to the hospital several times for vomiting.

He was returned to his parents Dec. 14. A month later he went into a coma and was rushed to hospital. Six days later he was removed from life support and died. An autopsy showed there was swelling on both sides of his brain.

"He was trying to teach him how to fight,'' Nysheerah Paris' sister, Shanita Powell told the court. "He was concerned that the child might be gay.''

Oh yeah. . .if I remember correctly, during the trial the man's "religious" beliefs were part of the defense.

Open your eyes. Those sickos that beat that kid (cops, which are often worse than the 'criminals' they arrest) will get punished because that type of behavior is unnacceptable here. Recognize the difference.

Your hatred is pretty sickening, why don't you move out of the country if you hate it so much?

Another example of an individual who will be punished, because we don't tolerate that shit in America, unlike islamic nations. What the hell do you think you're proving? Spew your hate elsewhere.

Look who is typing about hatred? The cops have not been arrested so far and the Governor of Florida hasn't issued a statement. The camp is, gosh. . curtailing certain acts of punishment and restricting use of chemicals. If that type of behavior isn't acceptable in this country, then why the hell did employees of an institution used by the government do it?

And now kid - I happen to be an American citizen who assumes that my citizenship and freedom involves a lot more than just mouthing off that people who bring up other points of view be asked to move out of the country. As one of the free citizens of this country, I make decisions about where I live and what I choose to do, along with exercising my freedom to express my thoughts whether you like it or not.

If you really were a patriotic American, no one should even have to mention that - but it is obvious you have a disconnect that prevents you from taking any personal responsibility for honoring your country beyond demanding that anyone outside your little Land-of-Oz image of the United States move. So don't start blabbin' about hatred, dude - not when you spout venom like a middle schooler whose parents never taught him the slightest respect for this country.

Ok. . .let's try a little more reasonable approach, since its obvious you have difficulty understanding the concept of the religious connection with death in this case. Do we know that every Islamic nation follows the exact same laws? No. As outrageous as that punishment was for a young Iranian boy, was he killed? Does the three-year-old American boy get his life back because Daddy thought he might be "gay" and that would violate his 'christian" teaching of righteous parenthood?

It isn't too surprising to deny this crap, especially since over 300 radio stations owned by the American "Family" Association last week featured Gary DeMar, president of American Visions - you know, one of those AMERICAN fundamentalist groups working hard to establish a theocracy in the United States.

"According to watchdog group Media Matters, DeMar is a leading promoter of an extremist theology called Christian Reconstructionism, also known as Theocratic Dominionism, which, according to journalist and author Frederick Clarkson, "argues that the Bible is to be the governing text for all areas of life -- such as government, education, law, and the arts, not merely 'social' or 'moral' issues like pornography, homosexuality, and abortion."

In his essay, "Theocratic Dominionism Gains Influence," Clarkson stated that under a Christian Reconstructionist government, "omen would be generally relegated to hearth and home. Insufficiently Christian men would be denied citizenship, perhaps executed. So severe is this theocracy that it would extend capital punishment beyond such crimes as kidnapping, rape, and murder to include, among other things, blasphemy, heresy, adultery, and homosexuality."

Do we tolerate this shit in America? Apparently so, because it happened. And it was linked to the man's religious beliefs in the defense. Turn on your television and you can see Pat Robertson pronouncing death or hurricanes or any number of holy jihadist crap on hundreds of local stations all over this country.

Ya see...there's a funny thing about being an American and noticing some similarities between issues involving overzealous religious beliefs. . .you know, like the murder of hundreds in the jungle of Guyana when Rev. Jim Jones fed the American congregation poisoned kool-aid. As Americans, we have the responsibility to deal with the issues in our own nation - that's our job.

What makes you think this country doesn't tolerate this behavior? Because YOU would come out from under your little American flag throw and stand up and demand that it be stopped in this country? Sorry dude - but you sound like you'd be more apt to try to spin it into something necessary for national or spiritual security and . . whoa. . .they deserved it because they didn't move their ass out of the country when they disagreed with you. . .and if anyone else mentions it, you'll tell them they have a hate-on for the good ole U.S.of A....duh-huh. . .

Here are some VERBATIM quotes from the Quran - which is considered by Muslims to be the ACTUAL AND DIRECT WORD OF GOD.

Qur’an 9:5 “When the sacred forbidden months for fighting are past, fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, torture them, and lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.”

Qur’an 8:12 “Your Lord inspired the angels with the message: ‘I will terrorize the unbelievers. Therefore smite them on their necks and every joint and incapacitate them. Strike off their heads and cut off each of their fingers and toes.”

Qur’an 4:94 “Believers, when you go abroad to fight wars in Allah’s Cause, investigate carefully, and say not to anyone who greets you: ‘You are not a believer!’ Coveting the chance profits of this life (so that you may despoil him). With Allah are plenteous spoils and booty.”

Qur’an 47:33 “Believers, obey Allah, and obey the Messenger. Do not falter; become faint-hearted, or weak-kneed, crying for peace.”

Here is the hypocrisy. Why are Muslims protesting the cartoons, made by non-Muslim Dane, civilians?

Qur’an 9:3 “Allah is not bound by any contract or treaty with non-Muslims, nor is His Apostle.”

It is not exactly the bone in the feet that are stronger, it is how they are arranged, they pretty much have the same density. Do you see how they put a red cushion between his arm and the ground? It is there to absorb the impact. Maybe it is there to not spilll blood all over the street.
