I was about to say... if I was behind a queen, I don't think I could come back from anyone that was able to trap my queen. I would definitely quit.Originally Posted by lnvanry

Its almost insulting to play it out.

Just buy a decent chess sim, set the difficulty to as high as it goes.
Next, start a yahoo chess game, make sure your side is the same as the difficult side on the chess sim, if it's black your black. Then when the player makes a move, make the same move against the chess sim, see what it does, and make the same move against the yahoo chess player.

not that I would ever do this...because im so pro.

true story.

Really? I was taught to play without it, in fact it made me a better player. I learned to utilize the other pieces far better.Originally Posted by lnvanry

You can't be to dependant on the queen, sometimes I come across a player too concerned with protecting their Queen that they wind up losing all their other pieces and at the same time leaving his King exposed.Originally Posted by NeilPearson

Practice by getting rid of your Queen and I guarantee that once you do use her you'll become deadlier.
I play a few times on AOL or was it Yahoo and some of these jerks would quit in the middle of a game.

generally speaking..you're right, but certain openings require aggressive queen tactics...played by some of the world's best players.Originally Posted by min0 lee
If you play with her early and aggressive, you need to be that much better

I don't disagree with you at all, if I do play a person who is not that good I use the queen a lot more but if we are evenly matched I will sacrifice my Queen for their Queen. I will do that because I know I killed the players spirit and If I didn't then we have a god game going.Originally Posted by lnvanry
