Does this only apply to brown people?

I agree with one language.

I believe in English only public educational system.

I believe English should be the national language, for business transactions and commerce. (I don't mean socially, at home, or in public places, just for ed. and business.)

When several different communities speak different languages that don't interact as much, and there becomes a distance and sometimes a divide.

I've seen this in some communities where I am from.

Lack of English also mean less job opportunities, reading medicine labels, street signs, leases, contracts etc.

Roosevelt was referring to immigrants from Europe, most of which didn't speak a word.

Interesting.....here in New York City the Asian population is increasing at a fast rate and they are buying all these stores here, of which I have a slight problem with.....there signs are written in Chinese, Korean or whatever... Americans can't read that!
Not only that but they are replacing well known stores for god knows what.

Do you guys want to speak in english? Go back to England.

Totally agree 100% with him. Therese also something I've been pondering on lately. Lets take this for instance, a pregnant woman is in America for whatever reason legally or illegally(not a US citizen), but has a kid here. Now the kid is an American citizen. That is bs. I know the constitution says born or naturalized or w/e dont feel like looking at my gov't texts, but we need to change this.

Everybody is Asian in Hawaii and all of the signs are still in English.
