Manual transmission
Auto transmission
Six speed manual (tell which car)
If you drive an auto, but want to learn stick!
Well, do you drive a manual transmission or do you drive an auto?
I added two extra option - If you drive a 6-speed manual (oh so nice), and if you don't know how to drive stick but you want to learn.

If you have a fast car you def want stick.

we have 3 vehicles, 2 are auto and 1 is manual, I prefer auto, shifting is a pain in the ass especially in rush hour.

agreed, I hate that. Its awesome on a Sunday when no cars are around taking turns at 80mph. Also, you more control of you car IMO. Better for snow driving. It does suck real bad in bumper to bumper traffic.Originally Posted by Robert DiMaggio

I drive a manual. As soon as I bought the car, I was in stop in go traffic on the dreaded 405 freeway. One of the worst freeways in America.
I haven't had a car for 6 years.
I do drive a Honda motorcycle, though. Oh yeah, manual.....

You're a braver man that I. I've thought about getting a motorcycle, but I have one major problem with it. I can be the best motorcycle rider on the planet and all it takes is one dumb ass driver to ruin my day.Originally Posted by Mr_Snafu

My current vehicle is an automatic, but I know how to drive a stick. I've driven a 6-speed Vectra when I was in Spain. Even at 140-150 kph that car handled perfectly.

Owned two 6 speed cars, some 4s and two 5s. I prefer manual in a fun car or in a beater. My company vehicle is automatic.
