he should have cut the engine when they did the box maneuver, what kind of puss can't steer with no power steering at around 60-70 mph, the truck I learned to drive in was a retired phone utility truck loaded with my dads tools it had no power steering when I first started driving it.

Shift to the lowest gear to slow speed then turn off engine, if the wheel locks up turn the key to unlock it.
