I lift at home and always have. It is more convenient and I have the room I need for my equipment. It ends up being less expensive too and I do not waste time going back and forth to the gym and add that transportation time to my workout time. I have Guys who workout with me too. So I guess it is like a "gym" in that respect.

$30/month
I used to go to the local YMCA but it sucks ass cause of the size of the free weight section. Some days it would be so packed that i'd basically be in line for a machine or bench.
The gym i go to now has a huge free weight section and the age group is 20+ which is good, cause there isn't little 17 year old punks running around everywhere.
~$35 a month... It's about $420 or so a year, but that gets me access to all the World Gyms in the U.S. (and maybe world?) Hopefully it'll be free if I get a job there...
Free, except I had to buy all the plates, bars and benches.
used to pay 25$ a month when i went to the Ymca
$280 every six months for me and the wife's membership

$70/semester when at school, $33.33/mo for 3 months at home if I can get the same deal I got last summer.
Free.
I work there.
I think most people pay $28-$40...depending on the rate when they signed up. Then, there's always those special promotions...pay for 3 years in full...pay $100/year after that...stuff like that. It seems everyone has a different amt they pay.![]()
Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death.
