I heard they have already developed synthetic muscle cells
that they implanted into lab rats, and the cells lived but,
would not grow, fire, or function along with the natural muscle groups...

Hrmmm this seems dangerous... If they muscle cells are 100 times more powerful than normal muscles, the lab rats could over-power the scientists and take over the world.

We have to figure out how to graft our bones and tendons with adamantium first so they go withstand the stresses of multiplied strength.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
