I saw it at a drive in, but was a little miserable at the time so I didn't like it.
we just went to the movies cuz we had some time to spare, I personally wanted to see Ultraviolet, I just wanted to see a cool action flick. When we got there it wasn't playing for another hour 1/2 so we saw V for Vendetta instead. I really wasn't looking forward to it, thought it was just going to be another comic book super hero flick made for the fans. It was a great movie though. It was very different. It had some cheesy moments, but overall these were symbolic and weren't cheesy in a cliche kinda way. It dared to be different, and thats why I liked it. It wasn't just more of the same, and leaves you feeling like you actually experienced something. There's also alot to the movie that's not just on the surface. Although it's light on the action considering I went in just wanting to see things explode and people die, there's just enough in this movie that I think it'll please everyone
on another note, Tit got me to watch Brokeback Mountain with her and her sister. The chicks loved it, I personally was bored. It doesn't really go anywhere, and it resolves nothing. It's like having someone tell you a drunken story about their life and you don't care, and then they forgetting what they were saying.Had it not been about two gay cowboys and had been about a hetero love that could never be, it wouldn't have gotten any recognition and just been forgotten in a long list of cliches.

How can you be miserable in a drive in?
I read the graphic novel, it is pretty good, I hope the movie will be great too.
I plan to see it this weekend![]()

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Saw it on Friday. Great movie. I liked that they kept the man behind the mask behind the mask. No cheesy relvelation. Strong story.
you serious? I saw it last night as well.Originally Posted by P-funk
The story line was well written. The movie was different than your usual movie flick which is what i liked about it. Also, the vocabulary V used was funny .. kept using big words starting with V.
I saw this flick a couple nights ago at the theatre after reading this thread. I have to say, I was a little disappointed; it wasn't really my type of movie. Everyone in this movie was some kind of freak or rapist. And what's with the scene with the dominos spelling the V? Did V have too much time on his hands or what? The ending was pretty artsy though. The girl I was with didn't like it, she wanted to watch The Hills Have Eyes.
Did this one remind anyone of Equilibrium?
sorry that it didn't work for you. If this movie's characters were too freak or rapist for you then something tells me the Hills Have Eyes isn't for you eitherOriginally Posted by KentDog

and no the movie really didn't make me think of Equilibrium. I liked the Fahrenheit 451-ness of Equilibrium, but was overall unimpressed
