    You Tell Me

Bush admitted that the invasion of Iraq was based on mistaken intelligence. The invasion is based on a mistake. The invasion is a mistake. Tens of thousands dead and over $243,180,955,459 of our hard earned tax dollars spent. Yet we are still there and will be well into the next administration.

Bush admitted that he spied on Americans without a warrant in violation of FISA. That’s a felony. Bush admitted that he thought the law did not apply to him. That is not his call to make and is one more brick in the wall of the Dictatorship we live in.

Bush has authorized ‘rendition’—the act of transporting suspects held without trial or charges to countries that condone torture. Strangely enough, the USA now heads that list.

The security of the American people has nothing to do with Iraq, the destruction of the Checks and Balances of US governmental powers or the shredding of the Bill of Rights.

You tell me. Illegal 'wars', spying on Its own citizens, destroying the constitutional character of the government--How does the Bush administration differ from officials in the Third Reich or Stalin’s KGB? Bush and his administration are flat-out UnAmerican. Americans don't stand for torture or Big Government spying on anyone it wants or illegal unnecessary wars.

Russ Feingold, the Wisconsin senator, proposed a censure of Bush for violating FISA. Feingold is just about the finest politician I know of bar none. He must resort to non-constitutional censure to address Bush’s crimes because the prevailing politicians, both Republican and Democratic, are spineless, gutless wonders who care not for upholding the Constitution as they are sworn to do. Instead, craven self-interest and party allegiance trumps all. The American public is just as culpable.

We have a desperate Constitutional crisis and the best this country can muster to confront the delusional and lawless Bush Administration is a censure?!!!

I knew that was coming hahaha.

In retrospect, when I go back and look at what I wrote, I find it hard to believe that a pencil-pushing lawyer is writing that stuff. At times it seems that politics is all I comment on anymore at IM.

I wholeheartedly agree w/ foreman--impeachment and removal. This has gone on far too long.

I'm hardpressed to find any other president in modern history even close to Bush in terms of lawless malignancy.

We have the lickspittle(to Bush) Blair to contend with over here...... Most people in the UK appear to have their heads in the sand. It is obviously so much more relaxing than facing up to the facts.

because America is primarily a Christian based country and Bush is Christian (so he says), need I say more, and I am not being sarcastic.

it is that simple, he claims to be a man of god, so he must be doing the right thing, it follows the same premise "because the bible says it is true, therefore it is".
