Globalization is a natural progression. Blaming the US for people losing their jobs through outsourcing is the same thing as blaming America for it's immigration problem.

If Asian countries met the American view on working we wouldn't have this problem either.

However, neither are going to happen anytime soon, America's time as the big dick is ending.

We should accept globalization and make the best of it.

By "WE," do you mean the 29% of the population that voted, the 14.5% that elected bush (although bush would have won anyways with all the voter fraud), or the corrupt electoral college?

Something has got to be done about the Electoral College. It is an out dated dinosaur that has outlived its usefulness. Now, communication technology more then allows us to start voting for president using popular vote. I do not understand why the American people haven’t demanded this to be changed. Actually, now that I think about it I do know why. Most Americans don't know what the Electoral College is.

By we I mean America. Do you think I would vote for Bush? He's a joke as a president, as is most of Congress. Back to outsourcing though...the problem lies with the countries allowing such long hours and little pay...not with America. You can't jsut go ask a business to up their spending 80% just out of goodwill.

That is a way too simple way to look at it, yes we are not 100% at fault but we have to fix our flaws before blaming others. Simple way to deal with China and the slave labor they enforce.....treat them like Cuba.

IMO, there will always be a way into our country, the only way to stop it is to make them feel like they don't have to.
