NOT BEFORE 25 EVER!!! Plus you must have your career in full swing before you get married.

Wait until you're 30. Generally people have no idea who they are or what they want until that age. Otherwise do as you want.

I am 24. I have a really good career. I have been with my girl for over 4 years now. She really wants to get engaged. I am going to try to hold for a couple years. Thats if she doesn't leave me before that. I believe a good age is 26-28 or anything after.

I agree with that. Why else do you need to get married. You really need a women's opinion on this.

45+ until then don't get serious about anyone. Make sure you have 2-3 girls going at all times and a couple more in reserve for booty calls.

I got married at 21 while still in school. That was 18 years ago and I am still happily married to the same woman.

Generally, I would not recommend getting married that young, but when it is right, it's right. We were ready, we had income...why not?

Whenever you can afford to lose half of your income, or right before you start to lose your hair, whichever comes first.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

When you get tired of receiving oral sex is a good time to get married. It ends IMMEDIATELY.

... and then look to marry someone < 35 or if you have money find someone around 25. But get a prenup and always wear protection. Don't have any kids.

yes, but you werent planning on having that kid, you just didnt pull out because it felt to good!

what I meant was if you are planning to have kids with someone and if marriage means something to you then that is the appropriate time to do it!

Marriage ruins the sanctity of marriage.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

    Early 30's.

If you get married before you are 29...you are just headed for your 1st divorce...

    IMO.

There are exceptions I’m sure...but 98% of the time...young marriages either end...or turn into marriages without passion and loyalty.

    You are rare and blessed!

I don't know of many couples that have been married a LONG time... and are honestly happy. Until I can find couples who have made their relationship work well (not just get by...but have passion and connection and trust) I doubt I would ever re-marry. I guess this thought is for another thread though...
