I do not get the whole "I drank too much and now I can't remember what I did" story.
I have never drank so much that I couldn't remember what I did, and I use to drink liquor through a beer funnel just to impress my friends when I was in high school. I use to drink until I passed the fuck out in weird places every time I drank, but I could remember everything I did up until the point of passing out.
My personal best was drinking a half of a fifth of Crown Royal in under 5 seconds. I was at the beach for spring break and I was trying to be a show off. I ended up falling off of the roof of our rented condo, but at least I remembered doing it.

The only time in my life that I was too fucked up to remember what I did was when I mixed Xanax with other drugs, such as:
    Xanax and Alcohol
    Xanax and Pot
    Xanax and Ambein
    Xanax and Shrooms
    Xanax and Xanax
    Xanax, Xanax and Xanax
Xanax, Xanax, Alcohol, Pot, and Shrooms (I advise against ever trying this).

I guess you are lucky then. Almost every time I drink, I wake up the next morning and forget tons of shit that happened throught the night. It really pisses me off, I fucking hate not knowing what happened.

at the begining of the night, make a conscious effort to remember something, say sitting around and cracking your first beer. Think "Im gonna remember this tomorrow, when I wake up" do this every couple of hours and you will remmeber all of your night.

One time I took a Zanbar and some Percocets and drank alot, by the end of the night I could only see half my visual field with my eyes wide open and it felt like I was walking around looking through a periscope because my head felt that detached from my body.

It's not like I'm some rookie to alcohol either. I've been drinking since I was 14 and was a full blown alchy when I was 18 - 19. I have slowed down, but I still drink 1-3 times a week. My problem is I can't drink in moderation...Usually by the end of the night i've had 12-15 beers and 7 or 8 shots. I just get way too fucked up. If I go out and just drink like 10 beers, i'm fine. I wake up, know exactly what happened and am not hungover. It's just every 4 out of 5 times I drink I get way to intoxicated. I heard that it is really bad to blackout when drinking. Is there any truth to that?

    sounds alot like me!

um, ITS NOT GOOD WHEN YOU BLACKOUT!!!!!

I've slowed down in recent years becaus the majority of my friends have got day jobs so they dont want to party during the week. I refuse to drive places if I know theres alcohol there because I will drink, and even though I dont get drunk I'll risk the drive.

a couple of things I do when I drink is, I will have a glass of water at the bar every couple of beers, If anyone gives you shit tell them you have a kidney problem and need to keep dehydrated. or if I'm drinking liquor I'll have vodka and water tall, that way you get more water nad it takes you longer to finish the drink.

Ya, I heard that water thing helps. I always say to myself at the begining of the night that I will drink water, but it never happens.

Thats one of the reasons I quit drinking. My father and brother are both junky alcoholics, and I was too until I quit drinking all together about 4 months ago.

I wasn't a complete alcoholic, but I basically drank 5 or 6 times a week. I was a pretty big shithead. There was a stretch starting from the day I graduated highschool, that I got wasted for 45 days straight. I don't know how I did it? I went back home to PA to visit my friends for 10 days at the beginning of January and I got hammered every night that I was home. That was very rough, I can't handle that shit anymore. 2 or 3 days a week is enough for me.

i went through a little bit of an alchy phase, but thats cause i was all depressed and shit all the time, plus it was summer and everyone i knew would be drinking almost daily.

i agree with whoever said, just hang out, get laid and don't drink. i only drink maybe one-two times a week (weekend) and even then, its only a couple of beers, or a couple of shots or a mix of the two.

I would love to stop drinking, but what is really sad is I don't really have fun if i'm not drinking. I really just wish I could drink in moderation. I don't know why I have to get obliverated when I drink, I wish I could just have like 8 beers and be happy.
