neither of my kids attend public school. it works as well as what your level of dedication is. with a bit of serious effort you can do very well and colleges are not at all hesitant to accept home schooled students. good luck.

you can go to your state.gov ie maine.gov and get information about requirements and policy for your particular state.

Don't look back ~ You're not going that way!

I was home schooled a couple points in my scholastic career. Most everything about it is better except for the fact that there is no socialization. Doesn't really matter though, most kids are douchebags.

There wasn't much teaching at my high school, mostly crowd control.

Everyone I've ever known who was homeschooled was anti-social to one degree or another, I personally would never do it.

I'm sure the teaching is better and probably less arduous but the lack of socialization and typical school activities is tough. No prom, no school sports, etc.

My freshman year in college I met some kid who was home schooled and he was a junior still in the dorms, Everyone convinced him that busting a nut meant slaming a milk box. The kid loved milk and told everyone that busting a nut everywhere. It was funny stuff
