Thread: Friday night again

I worked late and then came home ate dinner. Sat around for about an hour to let the food settle and then went to the gym, now I am surfing and watching TV.

Damn dude, that is sad, at least the wife went to a friends house and the dog and myself has enjoyed the peace and quite.....speak of the devil and she appears, just walked in.

Sucks, raining and chances of tornadoes, although most of it has passed. That is one thing that sucks about North Alabama, too many tornadoes cuses house insurance to be high.

Not too many, got a new roof out of one last year. I remember the one in 89, my parents took me and my older brother to see Batman and that one was nasty, killed several (15 I think) people, totaly destroyed south Huntsville and we were stuck in the movie theatre w/o power while it passed by about a mile down the road, all I can remember was it was dark and I was scared shitless. I watched one that was about a 1/2 a mile away from my front porch one evening this month and that was wicked, blew trash and debris all over the yard. A few other stories like that.

That story would have been nothing w/o the Batman reference.

I probably live in the safest place in the world, I don't think I've ever been near a serious tornado or anything up here. We had the outskirts fo a hurricane slap us a little bit a few years ago, but beyond the 2 inches of snow and occasional t-storm the scaries weather we get are big clouds.

Where do you live? We never get snow damnit, and when we do its usually an inch or so. Yeah the Batman reference. I was pissed b/c we missed it of course and then we never went back to see it and to wait until it came out on VHS.

Well the most recent one is easily the best one, Christian Bale rocks the house. I live in Northern Virginia and people are terrified of weather here. One Inch of snow = school closings. We get a foot or so once every 4 yearsish, but beyond that nothing. The blizzard of 95 (6?) is still one of my biggest childhood memories.

I remember that winter, I was a senior in highschool, we had a bad ice storm that year, no snow, but a shitload of ice. I haven't seen the most recent one, as long as it is good as the original one I will watch it. Funny sig by the way.

Just got back from coaching our first 4th grade basketball team.

The other coach started blowing up at his team in the 4th quarter when we were running it up, and we were up 13 w/ 5 seconds left and my point guard made a 3 from half court. I thought the other coach was gonna start hitting his kids , he cursed loudly a few times during the game.
