Physical therapists seem to do really well...![]()
A sports therapy PT here just added a great gym on to his PT practice. I've been working for him part time. They all do well around here. I should've done that!

are you guys being serious? I'm planning on going for buisness finance but would like to do something different and still have that good of a job market.
If you want to walk out of college and make 30-40K then get a business degree, if you want to make 80-100K to start get a Physical Therapist degree.Originally Posted by joesmooth20

thanks man, you know anyone who's done it? I know absolutely nothing about Physical therapist qualifications and or duties.Originally Posted by ForemanRules

getting a degree based on what makes the most money is a bad idea IMO, get a degree in something that you like and have a passion for, getting paid to do something you love is much more important than money.
but if you want to make real $$$ get a medical degree and become a surgeon.
I believe the average MD makes around $150k/year.
Good advice if he has a 150+ IQ and family money or a 4.0 and a full ride to his school of choice.Originally Posted by Robert DiMaggio

how many docs have you met... you're implying they are all smart?!Originally Posted by ForemanRules
you can get student loans to pay for the college, and based on the money you will make as an MD paying them off should not be a big deal.

I understand where your coming from here, but there isn't anything i love that you could go to college and make a lucrative income doing. So i figured I would go for what makes the most money and do what i want to on my time off. I want to be able to provide for my family provide for my family and not have them go without because i'm chasing some silly dreams and passions. I don't see any sort of justification in going to school for 4yrs for something that isn't going to make you wealthy. I'm kinda shallow i know but money is what makes the realistic world go round.Originally Posted by Robert DiMaggio

I believe our president has a master's in business. Most of you see him as a fucking lame brain. So i'll take a masters at businesws and except the money the goverment wants to pay me for being the Pres of the great U.S.

I will be going to school and majoring in biotechnology or molecular biology. Biology is going to be what physics was last century. I read an article on this a while back. I will post the link if I can find it.
You can google and also check these stats somehwere on the web.Originally Posted by joesmooth20

Find out what you really like and pursue it. The money will usually come.

It's a good idea to study something that you are interested. It's hard to stay focused and commited to a subject you don't enjoy.
I love it when a plan comes together.

then get an MBA, you cannot go wrong with that...you're not going to make a lot of money with any bachelors degree in this day and age, except maybe certain engineering degrees. so plan on at least 6-7 years of college.Originally Posted by joesmooth20
as far as chasing silly dreams that is not what I was implying, I simply meant that you should study and work in a field that at least interests you otherwise your life is going to pretty much suck.

Engineering or something in the medical field.
