Child obesity has doubled in a decade (UK!)

More than a quarter of children in English secondary schools are clinically obese, almost double the proportion a decade ago, and an official survey released yesterday also showed that girls were suffering more than boys from a crisp and chocolate-fuelled life of too much eating and too little exercise.

(All these i-pods and computer games if you ask me....)

True about the shit that people eat and drink...... But if people move and do a job that is physical often they will get by and not get fat(?I assume)

I don't think (possibly,I'm not sure) that the problem is totally lack of exercise, it's the sort of crap ,some people are are pushing into their guts. Combined with lack of any sort of exercise.... I assume.

err....great I'm not good at offering an opinion!

    Hell! I'll just shut up!

We should force 2 things into schools:

1: healthy food - not only for weight reasons but also for the increased attention span that comes with such a diet

2: P.E. 4 times a week for an hour, unlike the single 20min sessions currently. It should be competitve sport, in either hockey, rugby, football etc....

Both of these would get this country back into shape.
I love it when a plan comes together.
